The Napa Valley is known worldwide for it’s incredible wine, and rightly so. In addition to wine it also has an amazing reputation for food and the winter time is a great time to visit and enjoy both food and wine. Check out some of these great food experiences happening over the winter months in the Napa Valley.

Twelve Days of Christmas at Meadowood Napa Valley

Every year in December, Executive Chef Christopher Kostow invites a different chef to cook in his kitchen each night for 12 nights. Together, he and his guest arrange a tasting menu for the ages, complete with pairings from a visiting winery. Meadowood Napa Valley seeks out and invite chefs both here and abroad who speak to a positive, personal and dynamic way of cooking; chefs whose restaurants and work weave a narrative only they can tell.

12 days of Christmas at Meadowood

The unparalleled elegance of the Meadowood dining room paired with the creativity, thoughtfulness and talent of the chefs make this experience something we had to tell you about! We will pick up where Chef Kostow is on the seventh night in: Chef Virgilio Martínez of Central in Lima, Peru and London will cook on day 7; Alinea’s chef and creator Grant Achatz flies in from Chicago for day 8; Chef Corey Lee of Benu and the new Monsieur Benjamin will drive over to cook on day 9; Chef Esben Holmboe Bang (Maaemo, Oslo, Norway) will be in town for day 10; Chef Ignacio Mattos of Estela in New York is whipping up Day 11 and Chef Christopher Kostow himself will end it all on Day 12.

Tickets start at $395 per person. If the line up’s not enough to get you in the holiday spirit, check out the event’s teaser trailer! If you need to get there in comfort and luxury, we’ll take care of it for you with plenty of transport options!
